Aidil Fitri 1432H

Eid Mubarak from us in Kuwait

I hope it is not too late for us in Kuwait to wish Eid Mubarak to our family and friends… wherever you are, may this Eid brings you joy and happiness, insyaallah.

Solat Sunat Aidil Fitri

As always, in the morning we went to the Embassy to perform “Solat Sunat Aidil Fitri” and then get together for Jamuan Raya. Although this year, Eid falls during the school holidays where most people took the opportunity to celebrate Eid in Malaysia, we were glad that the celebration at the embassy was still “meriah” as always. During the Jamuan Raya, we were introduced to our new ambassador to Kuwait , Dato’ Adnan Othman and his wife Datin Azlinda Rosli.

Dato' Adnan, Datin Azlinda and their youngest daughter Adlin

Jamuan Raya at the Embassy was fabulous, we have Nasi Dagang Terengganu, Nasi Kerabu Hitam, Satay, Nasi Impit, Rendang, Nasi Minyak, Roti Jala and lots more. Thanks to all the cooks who worked hard to produce a superb Malay cuisine.
