Banana Cake

Banana Cake

I have been reading this book that I bought  for my other half for Father’s Day in 2003…Why men lie and women cry by Allan and Barbara Pease.  The book is amazing… I love their style of writing; simple, funny and  lots of case study to explain their point. Chapter 2 of the book talk about 7 things men do that drive women insane. One of  the question that women always ask is “Why won’t men stop and ask for directions?”  The book explained that men, for 100,000 of years ago have learned the art of good sense of direction to retract their steps back by feel so that they can find their way home after going hunting for a long distance. Sense of direction is man’s number one skill and admitting that they are lost simply means that they have failed at it and it is not acceptable. Allan and Barbara illustrate it in a very simple phrase…Why does it take 4 million male sperms to find and fertilize an egg? Because no one wants to ask for direction!” and this… put a smile on my face….ha ha ha….spot on!

OK ok ok… enough with that… let’s talk about the banana cake that I have just baked. I love this banana cake because it is soft, moist and super easy to make. I got this recipe from my friend Eli. She used to bake this cake and brought them to the embassy on few occasions and Jessy loved it very much.
